Elegi för skogshare

“Elegy for Blue Hare”
During late summer I had a residency at the atelier run by Dômen Konstskola on Hållö. With me I had my saxophone, a simple synthesizer and a microphone. When walking over the cliffs I happened upon a dead blue hare which I held company for a while. At first it wasn’t anything special but as time passed on the island I could not let go of thinking of the encounter. 

I decided that I needed to perform a ritual for the hare. I found some flotsam from which I constructed a wooden cross. 

From this feeling I improvised an elegy for the hare at it’s resting place.
