Please Have a Seat


Please Have a Seat is a location specific installation made out of MDF- and masonite boards. Paired with this is a 45 minute track composed of sounds (water, foilage, birds, mud, grass, etc) recorded in the nearby area which is layered with guitar, bass and synth. Inside the construction the back rest acts as a resonator and the curvature envelopes the visitor within the sounds that are played through a speaker creating a sort of elevated presence.

190cm * 180cm * 75cm.

The inauguration took place 2024-04-06.
