“Everyday Monotony/Everyday Cacophony”
I am sitting on a chair in a small, tiled, room reading “Rapport från en skurhink”. Around me there hangs laundry. In front of me a table with kitchen utensils. In a saucepan I am preparing soup of water and a nail. In my bowl there’s a spoon. Both the nail and the spoon are fastnend in a fishing line connected to a motor which make them scrape against the edges which create scraping and pounding metallic noises. Every tenth minute a egg timer rings and the motor is stopped. I put away the book, scoop up some soup, add a pinch of parsley and eat. Everything is repeated when the soup in the bowl is finished.
